The dog mascot was named "Sport."

CITY OF LOS ANGELES

FOR THE YEAR ENDING
JUNE, 30TH 1910

When San Pedro and East San Pedro were annexed, a hand drawn village truck, and a hand drawn 40 gallon chemical together with three hand drawn hose reels and a quanitity of hose were acquired by the Fire Department and also a combination hand drawn chemical and village truck at Terminal Island, all of which are still in service at these places.
