"SWING IT FELLAH!"
That's what they shout when Tillerman Edgar Dawson, of Tuck Company
No. 3 above, settles himself firmly in his high seat, snaps on his safety belt and grasps the big stern steering wheel of the hook-and-ladder truck as it rolls out of headquarters fire station at 217 South Hill street on an alarm.
  And when Fireman Leo Casey, on an upper floor, hears that alarm bell clang, he shoots down the shiny brass pole like a streak of greased lightning, his face upturned to watch for other heavy boots above him as pictured below
