Motorization of Engine Company No. 11

In 1914 the 1899 Metropolitan Steamer was motorized with the addition of  a 1914 Christie 2-Wheeled Tractor.  The horse drawn hose wagon was replaced with a 1914 Moreland Auto/La-France Combination Chemical and Hose Wagon.

In 1915 the Metropolitan and the Moreland were transferred to Engine Company 29 and the 1913 Gorham assigned there was moved to Engine 11.

Originally in service as Engine 29, moved to Engine 11 in 1915 and remained in service there until being replaced in 1927.
